CAPITAL RUNWALK – CAMERON VILLAGE
SPRING INFORMATION SESSION – Monday, January 20 at 6 pm
I joined the program in August, and completed my first Half marathon in November. It was great having a training program all figured out for me, and it helped having a group to do those long runs with. I also would never have done speed work if it wasn’t part of the program. I met some great people, and I became a better runner. I am looking forward to the next session.

I encourage any runner that has never been a part of a group like this before to give it a try. I don’t believe you will be disappointed.

Complete Runner program gave me the opportunity to run with a fun and supportive group. Coach Tim’s Wednesday night workouts focused on improving speed. Quality time with Bobby Mack for Core is priceless. No dollar amount can be placed on such a entertaining, yet physically demanding event. The group, Tim Clark, Bobby Mack, all contributed to my BQ time in Virginia Beach in March 2013.
When I began my first season of Complete Runner with Coach Tim, I could barley run a mile under 9 minutes. By the end of the 12 week program I ran the RunRaleigh half-marathon in 1:42:12, a 7:47/mile pace!

The Complete Runner is a 12-week program designed for runners who are serious about taking their training to the next level. Led by coach Tim Clark, and core instructor Bobby Mack, the program’s focus will be on improving the four major components of a complete runner’s skill set – speed, core strength, flexibility and endurance. All participants will receive a program booklet outlining the training schedule.
The group will meet at various locations in the Raleigh/Wake County area, depending on the nature of the workout. The program includes the following training sessions:

- Thursday (5:30 pm or 6:30 pm) – core class to build core strength and flexibility
- Saturdays (8:00 am) – focus on building endurance
Course fees are $140 for training runs AND core classes.
